Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how information is collected, used, and protected when you use the Gravity Flip application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this document.

You can play without an account. If you never sign in, the App does not create any account for you and your game data stays on your device. An account is optional and is only needed for features that cannot work without one, such as appearing in online leaderboards or backing up your progress.

1. Information We Collect

a) If you play without signing in

Local game data: scores, progress, coins, and settings are stored on your own device only.
Device identifier: a random identifier generated by the App. It never leaves your device, and it is not linked to you or to any account.

b) If you choose to sign in

When you sign in with Google, we create an account for you and store the following on our servers:

Account identifier: a unique identifier generated by us. It is not your Google ID.
Email address and display name provided by Google when you sign in. The display name is shown to other players in leaderboards and, where applicable, as the author of content you publish.
Game data: your high scores, campaign progress, stars, and the cosmetic items you have equipped, so they can be shown in leaderboards and on your public profile.
Backup of your progress: a copy of your saved game, so you can restore it on another device.
Content you create, where the App offers it, together with the statistics associated with it.

c) In all cases

Purchase data: in-app purchases are processed by the corresponding store (Google Play). We do not store or have access to your card or payment method data.
Anonymous technical data: third-party services may collect aggregated, anonymous technical information (device type, operating system version, advertising identifiers) for performance and advertising purposes.

2. Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services that have their own privacy policies:

Supabase — hosting of our database and authentication. Data is stored on servers located in the European Union.
Google Sign-In — used to verify your identity when you sign in.
Google Play Services — achievements, leaderboards, and saved games.
Google AdMob — advertising.

We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of these providers to understand how they handle your data.

3. Use of Information

Information is used solely to:

Enable game functionality and save your progress.
Identify you across devices and restore your progress if you sign in.
Show leaderboards, rankings, and public profiles.
Process in-app purchases.
Detect and prevent cheating, abuse, and fraudulent scores.
Improve performance and the user experience.
Display advertisements, where applicable.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising profiling.

4. Data Retention

We keep information only for as long as it serves a purpose:

Account, profile, records, and progress backup: for as long as your account exists.
Daily race entries: 7 days. Daily race results: 90 days.
Anti-abuse rate-limit records: 24 hours.
Abuse reports: up to 1 year.
Local data on your device: until you delete the App or clear its data. Deleting your account does not delete the progress stored on your device.

5. Deleting Your Account and Your Data

You can delete your account and everything associated with it at any time:

From inside the App: Settings → Account → Delete my account.
By email: write to soporte.by.vik@gmail.com from the address associated with your account.

Deletion removes your profile, your records and rankings, your progress backup, and your likes. It is immediate and cannot be undone. Requests by email are processed within 30 days.

Your progress on your device is not deleted — you can keep playing offline exactly as before.

Content you have published, if any, may remain available to other players, but it is unlinked from your account and no longer shows your name.

6. Your Rights

If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, rectify, delete, and port your data, and to object to its processing. The legal basis for processing is the performance of the service you request when you create an account. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address in section 10.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children. Creating an account requires a Google account and is never required in order to play. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Data Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access to it is restricted at the database level so that each player can only reach their own data. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
